Happy 4th of July

 HAPPY 4TH OF JULY!
This morning the Moroni School leaders and Service Center had a special 4th of July devotional to honor America and our celebration of the 4th.  A big American flag was hung with a beautifully decorated flag cake.  We all sang patriotic songs and two talks were given.  A special video of America was also given.  The Kiribati people are very thankful for America to free them from the Japanese and also for sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ with them.

 They asked the senior couples sisters to cut the cake.  It felt like cake cutting at a wedding.

 The lady second from left made the cake.  President Tune, our stake president, is on the right.  He was one of the first people to join the church.

A special treat was the tie that one of the teachers wore.
